WEEK 4 - 6
WEEK
4
During this
lesson we were taught various new methods too creating an object. These
included the revolve, loft and sweep tool.
This week I found it challenging to complete some of these tasks because of the complexity of some of the instructions. All together though it was a fun, knowledgeable experience. I found the last object to be confusing, as i ran out of attempts on my quiz, and had recreated the object multiple times to end up with the same mass.

WEEK
5
For week 5, we
had to construct our own A3 template for our objects. This template would show
the drawing standard, a symbol of third angle projection, company name, name
and date, and part properties. Four objects were created for this new template,
to gain a deeper understanding of drawings and their functions.
WEEK 6
We were
introduced to assemblies which showed us how to place objects together. This
process is completed by lining up the objects in the position suitable, then
selecting the mate tool to link them together.
After learning how to create assemblies, through the online tutorials I was shown how to create an exploded view of the assembly which would then be used in drawings.
